We are an exclusive dried shiitake mushroom merchant over 40 years in business in the land of the Gods, Takachiho. We have only bought shiitake directly from producers in Takachiho. Takachiho, backed by a rich broadleaf forest, is the most concentrated area in Kyushu with mountain torrents housing masu trouts. Shiitake mushroom grown with great care are sumptuously added to make this curry.

We use dried shiitake mushrooms purchased from producers around Takachiho, Miyazaki, that are dice-cut in 5mm size by our unique method. Dried shiitake will be plump after 1 minute in hot water, or 3 minutes in warm water for you to use while cooking. Far-infrared drying technology leaves the shiitake rich in flavor and just right in texture. Enjoy in seasoned rice, soups, and other dishes.

We use dried GIAHS-certified shiitake mushrooms brought in from producers around Takachiho, Miyazaki. This tiny donko leaf is 25-42mm in diameter, perfect for stewed dishes. It is just small enough for one bite, so you can retain the original shape and save you the trouble of cutting them up.
