Product introduction
From the times of our ancestors we have preserved the forest and lived with the forest, and Morotsuka was designated as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage in 2015. Every step from production to processing of this shiitake mushroom grown in such traditional forest is completed in Morotsuka, and it is transparent in its distribution channel. It is also FSC certified and CoC certified as a product from a sustainable forest. Morotsuka’s shiitake is bursting with umami, is “safe and sound”, and excellent in traceability.
