We used an abundance of Miyazaki’s dried mushrooms in this pot rice mix. To make the best of real shiitake flavor, we used Miyazaki’s dried shiitake stock and seasoned and packed in the whole shiitake. All you have to do is “mix” with cooked rice. Just right for 2 cups of cooked rice, or 4 bowls.
Made without animal protein, so vegetarians can enjoy them, too.

Donko shiitake is a popular variety of dried shiitake.
Donko shiitake is known for its thickness and great texture, and is the most common shiitake used in dishes. Enjoy the wonderful flavor that will fill your mouth once you bite into it.

Tenpaku shiitake is a very rare type of Miyazaki’s dried shiitake.
In the 3 years it take for shiitake to grow, Tenpaku shiitake is named for its natural crack in its cap due to temperature, weather, and humidity. It is also called “Hanadonko”, or Flower donko because it looks like a flower. Harvest crop is limited across the nation and the precious shiitake is traded for a high price even now.
